Haven't been very active the last year or so, I haven't updated this since 2013. The spring is here again and I recently took a trip to Arizona and Nevada so I should eventually get some new deviations up. I'm looking for a new place to live so I've been busy packing and searching.  Hopefully I'll get back to working on this site soon.

Winter Is Here

Winter is not my favorite time of the year, but I've gotten better at handling it. I used to hibernate the camera for the winter, but now I go out anyway, sometimes on the worst of days, I took some nice shots of a October ice storm in 2011, so I'm sure if it snows or we have ice storms, I'll go back out this year. I'm also taking a short 2 day trip in the middle of December, a geocaching tour with photographic opportunities. Traveling south west toward Maryland, Virginia and West Virginia, and then east toward New Jersey and Delaware. Should be fun! I'll post some new shots after that trip, unless something more exciting comes up before that.

October Is My Favorite Month

October is my favorite month. Its not too cold yet and its perfect for taking pictures. Plus I get to decorate for the holiday. Its been a while since I wrote in the journal, as usual. I found a new hobby thanks to sadistikid79, geocaching. It combines my love of the outdoors, woods, treasure hunting, and for me, taking pictures of places I might not ever know about on my own. So far I found 7 myself, plus a couple more with Derrick, Lisa and Lauren. One of them had 2 old, early to mid 1940's cars in the middle of the woods, its always strange to find cars abandoned in the woods. I'm hoping to take some nice fall shots before the trees are bare. At the end of the month I'm on vacation, so I'm sure I'll be traveling around taking even more pictures. Hope everyone has a good month.

Going to California

Well its been a while again, but within the next couple of weeks a huge amount of photos will probably be posted from my trip coming up. I'll be visiting California, Arizona and areas out there on the left coast. I've never been out there during the winter, should be fun, especially in a rental car. I don't have any real plan, so its more of a free roaming vacation. I still haven't reached 500 deviations, but this coming year I think I will. I'm going to take some more trips this year as well. Hope you all enjoy the new stuff when I post it.

Semi Anual Journal

Well its that time again, I was looking over the old Groups journal entry, since that time I joined a couple more. In the last 5 months I've posted 44 deviations. I noticed that I had a journal in 2005 stating 500 by years end, well, it doesn't look like I did too good with that one. I've been posting more nature shots since I got a bigger lens. I want to try and be a little more active, it seems like sometimes I go away and completely forget about DeviantArt for a while. I'm gonna try a little harder to comment and look at the posts other have out here. Its not that I don't see them, it just seems like I never have enough time to look at everything, there is so much good work out here. At least I don't struggle as much now that I have a functioning computer. Hope everyone enjoys the stuff I post. Later! :gallery:
