Momento Mori

This is the headstone of Nathaniel Mathers, brother of Rev Cotton Mathers of the Salem witch trials. I like the images on the old stone, and the name Momento Mori is Latin for "remember to die", its a Latin medieval theory and practice of reflection on the way life is transient and our time here is unimportant as related to the things we do while we are alive.
